LEDs
Recently it seems we have been doing a good bit of works with LEDs, and it seems that surface mount LEDs are becoming more popular (as opposed to the round dip LEDs which were common place.) So regarding that I am pulling in an article from EPN-ONLINE.COM regarding LEDs.
” PLCC LEDs provide increased shelf life with reduced moisture sensitivity
Cree has introduced the XLamp MX-6 PLCC LED. The PLCC LED offers enhanced light uniformity and consumes less power.
The device can provide better design options for indoor applications, including under-cabinet, retail displays, LED light bulbs and fluorescent replacements.
It provides up to 130 lumens for cool white and 107 lumens for warm white at 350mA. The LED can also reduce luminaire and lamp manufacturing costs by offering an increased shelf life with reduced moisture sensitivity, and small warm white bins, enhancing LED-to-LED colour consistency.”
Well thanks for tuning in every, see y’all next week!!
